What the heck is this?

    Ok did someone put a clock on the Lincoln memorial? Sure looks like it
    on this 1994 penny.

    i think it is zinc rot or a plating bubble. Looks cool though.

    Agreed - probably a plating bubble or corrosion - I'll that, it has probably been flattened out from circulation. It is interesting but not worth anything extra. BTW nice clear picture
