Just wondering if a newspaper dated march 7, 1995 with headlines of the 1995 Doubled Die is worth anything to collectors ?

I would preserve it the best way I could for the collectors of the future. You never know, one day these articles may carry a premium...

    I just found a 1995 DDO-001 earlier today. That's ironic.

I would hold on to that article and wrap it up in a plastic of some kind. That will be worth something in the future but not right now.

I have serveral old red books and blue books that are worth some thing ,but never a substantial amount of money ,

I don't know how significant your article is ,and how much it will be worth in the distant future, but hold on to it it's a piece of coin history and cool to have anyway

As a professor I'm surprized you said what you did here. 'Store it in plastic'. I'm shocked.
Using plastic is a really bad idea as the paper will tend to attract moisture when encased inside a synthetic substance like plastic which does not breath. The moisture gets trapped inside and the degradation process then begins and before long, it will be attacked by bacteria etc... and deteriorate. If left unattended, the paper will flake away, become mildewed and become worthless to collectors.
You need to go to an art supply shop or on the internet sites and buy a large sheet of acid-free paper for each newspaper you want to preserve.

Great insight everyone...speaking of preserving ??? Does it harm a coin to be in those 2x2 mylar ?? folders..for a long time..made some trips to local coin shops and they sell a lot of coins in them. I know I have purchased mint sets ..like 1968 and the coins really are bad...pennies look somewhat corroded..of coarse that's in like plastic..it's the blue or Red strip with like six coins side by side. I have 3 68 mint sets..and half the coins look to have some sort of doubling to them. The dimes and the Lincolns.
