Wish I could give this more likes!

Seems the only visual assistance you're missing is a seeing eye dog.

    Nice setup there ;)

My man cave is 7' wide by 33' long. Perfect place to hide.

They most definitely wouldn't be able to get a call through outside of their area code. With the cell phones, they don't need to dial a "1" first before dialing the numbers outside of their area code. Happens to me every day when someone is trying to fax me something. Using a land line they never dial a "1" first before they dial the rest of the fax number.

Randy what do you mean by a single eye loupe?
This is my loupe I believe it is about 4X. It is made by Edmund Scientific it is also adjustable.

Yes sir. How do you mean adjustable? Are there two lenses in the piece?

We have Magic Jack that operates through our internet modem. It doesn't require dialing the 1 first. For $45 a year we have at least one land line phone in each room. Old people should have that.

Reminds me of what the inside of an operations trailer at a construction site looks like.

    Yes there are two lenses.
You loosen 1 then can screw in the eye piece 2. For a different magnification. I haven't played with it in years.

It was an open back porch. I closed it in and made it an office. My wife and daughter worked here when they owned several beauty shops. They retired and sold the shops and I inherited the space. Lucky stiff.

So you typically use regular hand held magnification?

I use a battery operated, lighted 10/30 magnifier but have many different types on hand. I always revert to the lighted 10/30. I know 3/5X tends to be the accepted range for most, but my eyesight is not what it used to be. The 30X is overkill unless, like me, you might be looking for very tiny die markers on varieties for the purpose of the different stages of an doubled die for instance.

I don't have a man cave (yet) but if I did, one of the things I'd have would be a large screen showing outside surveillance footage at various angles and directions. I'd be monitoring it much like I used to do the plat lens on the USS Midway during flight ops.

I haven't adjusted it in years. This is the only one I use.
