Cheapest Bullion Coins in TX?

I've been finding premiums of 4% above spot in my local area. Wondering if there are any better deals in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or Houston.

How do people get a "good deal" near or below spot gold?

I wish I knew. I have found a few on EBAY. I also have found a good number of 90% US coins there for melt.

4% is fairly good, in my experience.

As TL pointed out, from time to time you can do better on eBay. Combined with a cashback bonus attached credit card via PayPal, you can do a bit better yet.

Haven't had any luck on Ebay with regards to bullion type coins. I have seen some numismatic deals, but not really for bullion.

Do you have any suggestions for particular types of coins that could be had around 4% on E bay? I've most looked at U.S. and British, some French.

eBay is the way to go if you have patience... I've seen people get 1 OZ Silver Bullion coins all the time for less than spot.
APMEX and Northwest Territorial Mint can sometimes have good deals, also check the open forums here, as you may be able to find good deals.

 

Interesting, I haven't looked much at silver, I'm more interested in gold.
