Oh I didn't do anything - I'm worried still about Paddy as we had sent each other several emails. I have some info about Varietynickels.com that I need to send him, but don't want to bother him if he is sick.

My apoligies for my absents,with no replies to your post. My wife and I have been throught some rought private family matters with one of our family members ,that now has passed TG! We are both fine and well. Right after that cleared we found out that our dog Lucky has cancer,and once again we hit the bottom of the pit. Lucky is doing well at this time as we have had her to several vets. But and there's always a but ...she has a tumor at the base of her heart and right next to her arota. So sugery is out of the question. As Lucky is like a child to us we once again are facing some rought times. We are still a waiting for results to her pathology to see if there is anything we can do. Both my wife and I have been broken hearted over the events of the passed 45 days. I promise to announce the winners and award the prizes ASAP. Again I am sorry for the absents and silence but family is always first....Regards to all Paddy

Glad you're back paddy. Given the circumstances I think we would have understood if you didn't continue the contest. I hope everything gets resolved for the better.

Grats to the winners and glad to see that you are back Paddy. Gave everyone a bit of a scare at first, I think, but it's good to have you back even if it is not under the best of circumstances.

 

Congrats to the winners. It was certainly worth the wait to find out Paddy's OK and the winner were announced. This was a very interesting contest in that we got to see some of us in our photos we posted. I think my photo of my sailfish catch was the first I ever posted of ME. The same must have been true for some more of us. This contest showed beautiful scenery, happy families and all around good times. The winners were all of the CoinTalk folks that participated and read the entrys. They got a feel for who we are.

I let my eight year old son make my 2nd place pick of the prize and told him he could have it. Of course he picked the treasure chest and boy did he make out like a bandit. He's starting to accumulate quite a collection and this really added to it. Here's the loot.
