Congradulations MajorBigTime. I for one think you got a great deal and a fine coin. You are really in the big times now.

I would be most interested in the slab results. Would you care to post it ?

Sorry, I am an 'ol fart and have no idea how to take and post a coin photo. Besides, you can see the photo I cut and pasted from Feaebay.

Looked real to me, though I am perfectly innocent of any knowledge of the series. Fwiw, I took the "sterling silver" line differently than many, as a marker of the seller's ignorance, rather than dishonesty.

Congratulations!! I was suspicious of the listing...guess I was wrong. Curious why he didn't slab it first...could have made more $$.

That was an excellent buy. You are one lucky guy and that coin looks good. More so if that is indeed the center plug variety. As far as which Bolender (B) variety it is, not sure but seems to be a B-1, R-1.

PCGS slabbed it as a "Silver Plug".

Sorry, I missed that. Then I will say it again, you are a VERY lucky guy!

PS- want to trade you silver center plug, for my 1795 B-5 in VF30?

I appreciate the offer, but I will "pass". The Silver Plug is a "keeper" and an important addition to my humble collection.

Looks like you got a great deal! a VG10, pcgs sold for over $13,000 earlier this year on Heritage. (it was an R-7). These appear very rarely at auction. Enjoy!

    oh dear.

the buyer recalled his payment before the coin was ever sent, I would be surprised if he ever even really received this fake coin. Look at the 1921 peace dollars this seller has on auction and let us know what you think.

Now I am very confused. You won this coin 10/9 and left him a negative 10/12 even though you got the bargain of the century. HUH? To make it worse, eBay pulled you negative feedback. And just to make sure, you bought another coin from him and left him a negative for that coin also. I have no idea why the seller did not block you from bidding. I do not know just what is going on here, but there is something strange.

Out of 765 feedbacks left, you have left 8 Negative and 19 Neutral.

    I agree with rlm's cent
you win a great coin but leave bad feedback to seller, and the coin genuine .then you go back again and bid or buy.
