I did a test to see if I could post a link to a NGC Registry Set. The short answer is, "Nope". It makes sense in that a password is required to see the set. But if you can see the set, then the password has been already entered. At that point someone can now edit! Easy to see that NGC doesn't want unauthorized people wandering around in other people's files with editing rights. So the question is, can a Registry Set be linked to in such a way that it is "Read Only"? If so, how?
My NGC Registry Type Set I think I've got it. http://coins.www.collectors-society.com/registry/coins/SetListing.aspx?PeopleSetID=57236
Yep, worked. Someone asked me to post my type set, so first I finished loading the images. Then after a bit of fumbling I managed to post a link that worked.
Great stuff there Kanga, love the '71 two center, and the '09 IHC, and....face it I love 'em all. Thanks for sharing these beauties. :thumb:
I really like the 1909 IHC too. 66BN is a heck of a grade. Why does it show as a 1909-S though??? I even checked the PCGS number on their website and it comes back as a 1909-S as well. Is your photo incorrect or is the registration wrong??? Also, does your PCGS label say it's an S mint even though it's not????
By the way, the 1909-S IHC in MS66BN is currently listed as a pop 1 coin with none in BN graded higher. If your example really isn't an S Mint coin, I'm sure the owners of all of the 65BN examples would appreciate you contacting PCGS to have the mistake corrected.
