Your 1/2 Eagle has a mintage of 5,708,802 , by the pics it looks low MS or High AU to me , worth around $350 . JMO rzage
Why presuming its not my first time to buy gold It is gold I did not know there was that large of mintage but did i do well I paid 195 euro's =285' dollar's It get's very hard to buy coins on ebay that your woried that are they copied coins But i can thrust the seller Dave Ps he gave a 30 day money back But going to bed now its midnight here

That coin is so-called "low gold", meaning almost all it's value is gold bullion value. Normally, there's no need to certify a coin unless it has numismatic value well above face / bullion value.
