I picked up 3 tubes of unc presidentials. They are 2007. The seal on the tube reads "World Reserve Monetary Exchange Never Circulated". They are all 2007 but I have 3 different presidents. Each tube is 50 coins.

What is is worth as a sealed tube? Or should I open it and try to sell some as indivuals?

There's no extra value to keeping these coins sealed in a tube. The Word Reserve Monetary Exchange is just a private business that has a name that sounds like a government agency. The coins probably came from ordinary bank rolls and were repackaged for sale. The 2007 presidential dollars had the highest mintages of the series and don't carry much of a premium. Dealers sell them for $1.95 each or in rolls of 25 for $37 but I'm not sure what you'd get if you tried to sell them yourself.

Did you buy them to keep them or to resell them?

    Purchase

Actually some paid for their groceries in Walmart with the tubes and so I bought them from Walmart at face value.

That's a good deal. Whoever spent them at Walmart probably paid a stiff premium for them. I still wouldn't keep them in those tubes unless you want to try to find someone who would pay the premium again.

I'm fairly certain that this company (World Reserve Monetary Exchang) operates out of a back room some place or a PO Box.

I remember when those full page ads came out in the newspaper, they wanted like $79.95 for a tube. My mom wanted to buy some and I said NO, but they're GOLD coins, NO! She pouted for a week or more over that. Then like almost a year later one of my tellers asked ME if I was interested in a $50 sealed tube of Washingtons, I said no but later I got to thinkin that moms Bday was coming up so the next day I went back and got them. When I gave them to ma she was estatic- I said yea yea when you figure out they are just dollars you can just spend them. So far they are still in the tube.
If you look at it from an intrinsic point of view I would rather be holding a couple of boxes of pre '82 pennies or even a half box of nickels. HH all, Mark
