Mine is scheduled to arrive Tuesday I'm gonna keep it regardless of all the hype now I think the limited qty will prove to increase the value even more over time as all the ones being flipped now will end up in the hands of collectors who truly want to add them to their collections making them more difficult to get.

Nah, don't sweat it man, you made some, others make more, some will make less and there may be those who can't dump them when they want to and be lucky to break even, you done okay. Maybe it wasn't worth your time and effort, but at least you came out above with a few extra bucks :thumb:

The flipping gods were not working in your favor that day. Bad Karma that 3 closed within minutes of yours. You did everything right (listing in both categories, and correct title). That is such a bummer to scrape the bottom like that. Anyone that has sold more than a couple of hundred items on ebay has felt your pain more than once. Sometimes I go back and look at my low, closed price listings, and think did someone superimpose a picture of Bin Laden on my listing that everyone sees but me.;)

All these people talking of selling 2 and keeping 1... yet wasn't the limit 1? How many people couldn't buy their _ONE_ because others were breaking the rules and buying extras to resell?

    Pitiful.

That would have probably kept me away as a buyer if I noticed it.

I would never buy the Chronicles set slabbed.

The Chronicle album is what makes this special. If you remove the coins from the set, you just have five coins you could have acquired elsewhere for a lower price.

I received my set in this morning. I am astonished and impressed at the quality and historical value of the set. This is one set which will remain for years to come in its
original packaging. Well done US Mint! Thank You!

Why break them up. Just replace the coins with slightly lower quality pieces and you have your 70's and your "limited set" too.

Does anyone know if the capsules in the LN6 are the sealed variety or can you open and re-close them?

I have one LN6 'in hand' but haven't looked into this aspect yet. That might prevent people from swapping other proofs into the original sets.
