Let me ask you a question. You are claiming that people are tattle-tales and snitches, well what do you think that little red and white triangular icon in all the posts is for ? You know, the one that you used to report this post ? How is that any different than what you claim the others are doing ? Are YOU not being a tattle-tale and a snitch by using it ?

Now I only point this out to make a point, that little Report This Post icon is there for a reason. It is exactly for what you used it for - for the members of this forum to report such things that they think are out of line or against forum rules to the forum moderators. And yeah, you're right. It is being a tattle-tale and a snitch to use it. But most people would prefer to call it being a good citizen. Or in this case, being a good member of the forum. It's no different than a citizen calling the police when he sees a robbery in progress. That's what you are SUPPOSED to do.

That said, we have rules here on this forum. And they apply to each and every member. And whenever anyone joins this forum he or she agrees to abide by those rules. We don't ask them to like the rules, they just have to agree to abide by them.

One of those rules is that no one is permitted to have more than 1 User Name. There are several reasons for that, but one of them is specifically so that should a member be banned from the forum, that person cannot come back under a different User Name and continue the same kind of stuff that got them banned in the first place. So any time that someone sees what they think is a violation of that rule. Then they are supposed to report it. It's not up to them to do anything about it, they can't anyway. All they can do is report it. It is up to the Coin Talk staff to do something about it and take whatever action they feel is necessary.

Now sometimes it will turn out that the staff thinks that no action is necessary. But it is up to them to decide that and nobody else. And the staff does not let the opinions of anyone else influence their decisions. They make their own decisions based on the evidence. And if the members like it or dislike it doesn't make any difference to us. We do what we feel is fair and the right thing to do. And if the members don't like it - sorry about that, but that's how it's gonna be.

 

jello nobody called you a liar and nobody wants to come to your house. What the guy wa soffering to do was go the OP's house to prove that he does not even have the coin he posted about. That's all. They were not even talking about you. You misunderstood.
