Hi all, got my two sets today in mail, got to say the US MINT out did it on this set.Sets where to be deliver on 10/27/09 and 10/26/09 was a big surpise when I look in mail box and long and behold one set was there, other set had buddy of mind order it for me :smile Here are a few pic's of the one set I open , other one is still in box.Not sure if going to sell other set or not time will tell.

I generally have little or no interest in moderns and things out of the U.S. Mint but this has me intrigued, I must admit. Too late to order direct so I will see what they are going for at the Baltimore show.:whistle:

I was a day late in ordering and got the back order message on 10-18. I just checked and mine says in stock and reserved! :kewl:

 

My first LN6 set (of two ordered at separate addresses) just arrived this afternoon.

The set is beautiful in presentation. The proofs look very dynamic with the mirror surfaces against the granular(?) devices. I particularly like the proof cent capsules with the larger diameter / space around the coin. The proof cents look great and I'm glad I stocked up on the 2009 4 pc. Lincoln cent proof sets, which are yet to be delivered in November. However, the silver dollar still doesn't grab me. Yet the silver next to the copper cents does look appealing. I also like the luster and tone of the proof cent coins when you rotate them in the light. There appears to be 'warmer' ranges of copper color as you tilt your view. I fully expect to see these coins tone rather quickly despite encapsulation and anti-tarnishing techniques in place by the Mint.

Yes, I think I have.

I started a thread here today upon receiving my first LN6 set.

 

Got mine this morning, and YES I think there are some spots... not visible to the naked eye...

 

I've got a few issues too Leo, but only while using an 18x loupe. At that power you dang well see things you don't want to see......

 

Got my 2nd set's shipping confirmation email now... #2 on the way! Whoo Hoo!

 

Got mine yesterday without the ugly white spots on the cents. Nice looking set!

 

Got my email today, (1) LN6 shipped!! Yahoo!!

 

Received mine today and all of the coins look nice. There is some toning going on from the center out on LP1, 2, & 3. Other than that, the set looks nice. I am happy I was able to get a set. Good Luck everyone!

 

According to the Tracking, I should get my set tomorrow, with my other set due on Saturday (3rd one was canceled). Yippeee.

 

Got my first set today. Second set is due towards the end of the week.
