What was the mintage for the Franklin Sets? Issue Price?
Seems to me that people like Lincoln more than Franklin :)

I really often wonder who the people who are paying these prices are.....along with the home shopping gold plated quarters for 3 easy payments of 29.95...

I had never expected I could get the set since I ordered it on 10/16 evening. But I GOT IT!!! They charged my card and my oder status just changed to in stock and reserved today. I don't have to hit my head against a wall any more :mouth:

I once bought the westward series collection on HSN for $160. I've met the enemy and it is me.

I hope I didn't offend....I get so mad watching those guys on HSN..my girlfriend wonders why I watch ....I like looking at some of the coins they sell I guess....I've always just been way too much of a cheapskate to pay them prices...

Oh C'mon man! We watch HSN because it is entertaining. I laugh and laugh all the time about the stuff they have on their shows.
    OOO LOOK NOW!
Gold Indian $2.5 **Guaranteed** ALMOST UNCIRCULATED: For only $599.95.

I mean things like that are outrageous, but hey Meazack and Skantz are entertaining :)

Occasionally they do offer good deals. When they had the ANACS MS67 two Log Cabin Pennies, with two rolls of each (P and D both guaranteed to be MS65 or higher) for less than $50.

I like anyone who has real passion for coin collecting. I really believe that Meazack is a coin collector. He seems to know what he's talking about. I don't buy the stuff anymore (ok; I only bought the westward series collection three years ago from them) but it is entertaining to watch. They really make you think that your coin collection is worth much more than it is. If it makes you feel good about your collection, it can't be all bad.
