Well Miss Sasha have you received your coin yet? Your seller stated he shipped the coin on the 15th so it should have been delivered by now I would think. Did you buy insurance on the item? When shipping coins, especially when coming from an EBAY seller the extra cost is definitely worth it. By Monday the 26th I would be making my plans to put in a claim if you have not received the coin. I would first notify the seller. Just because he has not been easy to deal with doesn't mean that you can't be the better person and be fair to him. Good Luck
I disagree with that statement. I find buying insurance on items purchase via eBay is a waste of money, regardless of the value, as long as you pay via PayPal. It's my understanding that under the eBay PayPal rules, it's the seller's responsiblity to insure delivery and if an item isn't delivered to the buyer, the buyer will be refunded their money if they use PayPal regardless of whether the buyer paid for insurance. Therefore, paying extra for insurance seems unnecessary from the buyer's perspective. Plus, if you use a credit card through PayPal, you have another layer of protection to get a refund if PayPal doesn't come through for some reason. Interesting lot of coins there Miss Sasha, hope there's some big winners in there!
No delivery as of today yet. Seller has not responded to my email last week. I hate to screw over a perfect feedback, but what the heck? I know they guy isn't dead as he's getting positive feedback from auctions that ended way after mine.
Since it was posted in his listing, at this stage of the game, I would wait until the 30th. I still do not understand, but that is what was posted.
Agree 100%...the Buyer is responsible for payment and the Seller is responsible for delivery. The Seller is free to pass "delivery" costs on to the Buyer as long as it's stated up front as an auction condition.
If the guy isn't responding by email, can't you get his phone number from eBay? I've had buyers do that to me from time to time if I've been slacking a bit. I know they get it from eBay because eBay also automatically sends me a copy of the email with their phone number as well. Sometimes I have buyers do this immediately upon winning an auction as well, guess they're just the more cautious type. And yakpoo, sure, the sellers can try to pass on the costs of shipping/insurance to buyers, but they of course risk lower bids and lower star ratings from the buyers. But whenever the cost of added insurance is an option in the listing, I always pass as I see no benefit provided.
Here,s something that happened to me, And most people are uware of it Signature confirmation over $200 is required if you get just delivery Confirmation the buyer can say that he never got it, And theres nothing You can do about it!! Beware of this!! Lesson learned!!
Then I would send him one final email demanding response within 24 hours or that 100% positive is going by the wayside. You know that I've called for you to wait it out a bit longer, but a seller ignoring a buyer's emails is inexcusable.
