I have been contacting Ken in the past month and he is very busy(personal and Business). So, just be patient. I have a coin I sent in to Coppercoins.com to be attributed in August. I got the coin back, but he still has not put the image up so I can be properly attributed. I have tried contacting him several times and he has not responded. Kinda spiffed about it, but what can I do? It is my first attribution, so I don't know what I can do. If anyone has any suggestion, then they would be helpful. Jessie
About my attribution? It is a thread on here from 6-30-09, 1986 d rpm? - CoinTalk . And is now known as 1986D-1MM-012 I believe. And Happy Birthday!
Why did you bother Ken with this piece of junk coin? Why did you bother Ken with this piece of junk coin? You were told and then told again - what is going on? The bridge for this coin is a good place to throw it as far as you can. It ain't nothing, never was nothing, can't be nothing won't be nothing. Which part of that do you not get? I think I'm beggining to see your agenda Mike. The next time you find one of these go and beat your head against a brick wall for a half an hour of so and see if you find the whole. Oh and, have a great day. Remember you could have earned some respect but choose not to, your choice.
Are you calling me Mike? My name is Michelle,...and really,...please do not respond to me again if you see that I have posted something. Please just pretend I do not exist. Thank you and be gone with you.
Well your reputation is beginning not to exist that one thing certain. Well your reputation as serious is beginning not to exist that one thing certain. Sorry about the name though really.
Have not had a drink since Sept. 21, 1991. Have not had a drink since Sept. 21, 1991. Had a few million before that though. From about 1968 to that very date, hardly missed a day. Glad you asked though - it's always good to check in. I just get tired of mollycoddling people who at first act like they want to learn then play some kind of game with very knowlegable persons on CoinTalk - that, right now is just getting to me but I guess you got that by now huh?
Really, don't know what to say to you...you use shock treatment...If it makes you so ill, maybe you should lay down the hobby for awhile. congrats on staying sober!
Just a little backup info on attributions depending upon what they are. Some are pieces of cake and they go quickly. Some may be new and when that happens, they will sometimes be examined by several experts in the field that the coin falls in to. I've had attributions in the past that had to go around the horn, so to speak to be sure it was new. The horn includes guys like Potter, Wexler, Crawford, Daughtrey, etc. If something is a new discovery, it can't be called one until a bunch of people look through their files to see if it has ever been reported before. I don't know what the coins were , (other than michelle's) that were sent out but it can take months to get something new examined by the many folks that keep the well known lists of die varieties. Many years ago, six months was not an uncommon period of time for a coin to be waiting for an attribution. I am not speaking for anyone in particular but I thought that a little explanation may help some folks to understand the time involved. Thanks, Bill PS: a lot of these guys have day jobs too
I am beginning to be more patient, but you should not ignore customers, especially paying ones. That is just rude. My attribution should not be to hard I think. There are none like it so far as I have seen. JMO
jessash1976, I had to go to a pharmacist the other day and I had to pick a number. It was like the old style delis where you picked a number to get served. A coin can get checked in, and be placed in line behind 100 or maybe 500 other coins. Again, I am not speaking for anyone in particular but generally, a coin is not immediately examined. It may get looked at quickly but that's it, at first. It doesn't matter how easy an attribution is if it gets placed in a file in the order a coin was received. It all takes time to be accurate and fair to all that sent in coins before yours got to wherever it went. So even though I may have indicated that the easy ones go quickly, it depends on each attributers system and it still may take awile for the easy ones too. Thanks, Bill
Well I appreciate that, Bill. I guess I will just wait and see. I usually check the site out at least three times a week. It just seems to me that the 2009 "new" varieties are getting all the attention right now. My coin is only probably worth about 15 bucks, so it is not a big error, but it is still my first. Oh, the Redwings are coming on, gotta go! :thumb::thumb::loud:
