You know, if you analyze this contest using game theory, you early posters are wasting your opportunity by making early posts. It's clear that the best possible combination is (30,32), and yet instead of cracking at the 30, or even the 29....you're wasting one of your limited (two) posts early.

Do you people not even have a simplistic grasp of mathematics?

Can you not see the futility of your strategies?

Well, it's quite obvious that now I'm just breaking the rules to be a wise-guy. I mean, I'm clearly outside the boundaries of this post, and yet, for some strange reason, I keep posting.

I mean, it's almost like I have an illness of some sort; a compulsion.

Really...I know there is no chance of my winning, yet in spite of my logic and the mathematics, I cannot help myself.
