if you're even the least bit unhappy with this coin for whatever reason, return it now. You will never be happy with the coin if you're not happy with it during the first week you own it, regardless of what PCGS says about it.

 

Just as a word of caution I'd call them first and see what their current turnaround is. I'm not sure what PCGS is at currently but I just got an NGC order back yesterday that was delivered to them on August 20th.

I agree. I'd return the coin and leave negative feedback.

Suing will cost you a lot more money than this is worth, likely not produce the result you want, and surely not stop this person from fleecing people. The best thing to do is return it, leave a neg, and do as we do and try to educate people about the types of fraud that exist on the internet.

This coin will likely not grade any higher than G-6 if it grades at all due to the scratches and you will never be happy with it or what you paid. Return it and find one that you like, but before you buy, my advice is to get a reference on Walking Liberty Half Dollars and read it a bit more on them before finding one that better fits what you desire.

 

Ok but it would be great if you guys can keep your eyes on a 21-d for grey sheet prices certified since that's why I got stuck in this. I wanted a 21-d walker but everyone was charging an arm and a freakin leg. $750 for a PCGS Fine..

I'm still going to get it graded.

the key dates are key for a reason and command higher prices. i swore off US coins since they seem to be affected by an artificial demand. i would never find myself wondering if a coin was AG, G, or F - the lowest i go is VF hehe.
