HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH... LOL. I don't know why but that struck me funny Yeah that message has been there since Friday...
I placed an order for the LN6 on Friday evening when that message was on the mint web. I probably can't get the set unless someone cancel their orders. :headbang:
I think these sets are neat, but I don't think they will ever realize any value because the coins in them are so common. It's true that the Lincoln comm has been very popular, but a lot have been produced...especially the proofs. The proof cents are the same cents you can get in all the proof sets...so this set will be very easy to assemble.
I think a lot depends on how the TPG's market these sets. If they slab them as a set, then the boxes may be commom. If not then well.... who knows.
Same here, I thought these sets were ready to ship I don't understand the 10/30 shipping date :loud: ship-ship-ship-ship-ship maybe they like to see us squirm a little :secret:
Ya, I agree. I was so happy to read that two of the three sets I have said this. The other said back ordered until some time in Nov.
in stock and reserved....they actually charged my card today...I couldn't believe how hard it was to get on the mint site on the 15th...took me almost two hours every few minutes refreshing and trying again...and I got $15.04 worth of coins for 55.95 what a steal!!!!!!!!
I bought the max 5 LP2's and feel like a I was suckered after these flooded the market. The mint does this on purpose, IMHO. I personally will wait til my coin shop sells these for the same price (same after shipping added to mint costs).
I went for the Franklin Chronicle thingy and now they are way lower than I paid, that is what gives me second thoughts on this one. Though This is a cooler set and seems to be more popular. Either way I will probably play it dumb and keep it instead of flipping it.
