Good to know! I put myself for 2 more sets. Naturally one per order submited.

 

If you ordered both sets from the same address, I don't think you'll get the second. Hope they don't cancel both orders. I had a friend order me a second from his computer and address, didn't want to chance two orders from same computer.

 

I had orginally ordered 1 for myself right after they went on sale and then about 4 hours later I ordered 1 for my father and used a different cc. However after reading some posts here and some other forums, I called the mint to find out if the 1 per household was in regards to the shipping or billing address. I was told that even though I had the 2nd one sent to a different address as a gift, and used a different cc, the billing address was the same and they would cancel both orders. I had them cancel my fathers and I was able to keep my orginal one. I did not personally think it was worth the risk of losing out on the set at this price. Good luck to those of you using the same addys on your multiple orders. Who knows, maybe it will work and I got a rep that fed me with bum info. Either way, good luck.

 

I got one, it's backordered. Does that mean I will still get one? I have an order # and all. It says backordred 10-30

 

I think everyone's will say the following on the website, "1 unit backordered; expected to shop on 10/30/2009" Elaine mentioned that the ship date may get extended to 11/13/2009. Considering her psychic abilities on everything mint, I wouldn't bet against her. Can you believe that that they are going for $200 one bay with the disclaimer that they won't ship until 30 October? The sellers better hope that Elaine isn't right.

 

Well I tried placing an order today and I think Iam way to late. Actually forgot all about this coming out. I have had some family things going on. Well anyways they told me that Iam on a waiting list. Which means I will get whatever someone else does not want. Well the early bird gets the worm and it was not me this time...

 

I don't believe it will be a set that someone doesn't want. If you do indeed get it I believe it will be because somebody's credit card didn't go through or the mint caught somebody trying to order more than one set.
Frankly, I can't see anybody returning these sets for replacement 'cause there'll be nothing to replace them with.

Yehaw, I was on a back order list and today was informed that I am getting the coins. How many others on back order are getting them all of a sudden?

 

Ordered mine on 10/17/09, was backordered expect to ship 10/30. Received confirmation this AM that item shipped 10/28. YEA!
