i'm down for 1. took just over 2 hours to complete my order. every single page failed to load, some pages not found, some just sat there... but finally it went through.
One for me! One for me and a buddy ordered one that will end up on Ebay. Will be my first ever proof when I receive it...just a rookie here.:hail: Took me less than 10 minutes at about 11:40 AM CST. BTW - I had set the Chronicles page as a favorite yesterday: https://catalog.usmint.gov/webapp/w...10001&storeId=10001&productId=15955&langId=-1
***********1 set********** They are on eBay for $295.00 already http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_tr...ronicles+Set+(LN6)+&_sacat=See-All-Categories
lunch = overhead. deduct the tab from profit when you unload your sets... I hope you get to pick where you take them to lunch or it could eat up your profits.
I got 3 sets. One for me, one for my brother and one for my girlfriend. Had no problem getting in at about 1:30 EST.
Looks like CT members who have so far reported their LN6 set orders here bring the count up to approx. 72 sets, whether one at a time or by enlisting friends and family! Out of interest, I've also skimmed the coin blog headlines but haven't seen any sales reports, 'sold out' news or anything other than the extraordinarily high priced eBay auctions since the sales went live today. That will change though soon enough and there will be plenty of news to read about how the first day sales went!
My brother, my dad and myself all ordered a set. But since they will probably both keep their sets, mark me down for one.
lincoln silver and cents one for silver goose went through at 5:15 pm cst ...i hope it doesn't get messed up oh well ..
1 set here. i tried for 1 1/2 hours at work starting at 12:00 pm. page kept erroring out. about 2:30 i tried again and was able to get my order in. got confirmation email from the mint :thumb:
Would have got one, two problems though; 1) School 2) Not enough money I did a completed listings search and some have already sold for around $200! That is crazy! Hope some of the confirmed order people who are looking to flip can see some nice return.
Darn those Jeffersons you just got eating up your funds... How can they compete Hopefully you're on Santa's good kid list and will have one later on in your collection.
Never really liked the designs of the pennies or the dollar. I just wanted one to flip it. I probably should have bought one, flipped it, and then bought Lehigh's jeffersons and I still would have had some dough left over. Oh well.
5 sets from 9:41 AM PST to 10:33. Its all about networking. And the family Bulldog with his own mint account.
1 set for me! I dutifully filled this household's order limit at 5:47 p.m. CDT First try and it took about 5 minutes. I don't know why anybody wanted to fight the crowd for 2 hours at noon. It took a few minutes for it to go from step 4 to step 5. At first I didn't think it was going to get through. But once the step 5 page loaded up it was a breeze. Received confirmation e-mail within minutes afterward. Already have the silver dollar in PF70 and the cent set with my 09 silver proof set but I figured I'd get one of these just for the hell of it and to hang on to. It is pretty historic after all and should remain very popular as time goes on. I've stood at the spot where he gave the Gettysburg address, I've been to the Lincoln Memorial in D.C., I've toured his home and visited his tomb in Springfield. Figured I have to own his commemorative set. FWIW, I won't be selling mine. Although if it comes and they are poor quality, it will be sent back. The cents in my 09 set were flawless so I am hopeful.
