It looks like presales on Ebay have sold for between $140 to $350 already. The set is also backordered to 10/30/09.
Right...maybe in the year 2040 they'll trade for that...:mouth: I see actual sales on eBay for around $200, which seems high. I would think it would stabilize around $100-150 in a few months...
I started at 12:36 central and mine went through at 12:54 central. Was slow but not as bad as I thought it would be. I was excused from work early today but now will have to help with inventory next weekend. What a bummer I believe these sets will sell out within 6 hours but what do I know.
I just ordered one for me, and ordered a 2nd one under a friend's name so I can have one to flip. It was only one per household, RIGHT?????
Done deal logged in at 11:15 PST 10 minutes and done. I guess I was lucky from what i'm reading in other threads.
Congrats to those getting their orders in... I bet tonight it will still be clogged when folks get time away from work and get online. Just a reminder as these thread continue to grow: Let's add up the collective CT haul of LN6 sets
Ditto- except it took me more than 45 minutes. Forgive my ignorance but was the Lincoln coin ever available as uncirculated or is it only available in proof? I spent about thirty minutes looking around the mint's slow Website looking for uncirculated & then it took 45 minutes to buy the proof.
Im in, relatively easy. I am buying this purely as price speculation, or as a Christmas gift. We'll see.
These two links from Coin News pretty much explain what was available and when: http://www.coinnews.net/2009/03/10/...ntro-prices-ending-sales-near-mintage-limits/ http://www.silvercoinstoday.com/200...ars-the-coins-prices-images-and-histor/10588/
Keep trying... don't give up if you are having trouble/slowness online. Call them up, the number is posted earlier in these threads on the LN6 sets if you need to find/use it. :smile
Difficult at first....real easy ordering now I just placed two online orders for friends that were at work and did not have computer access and couldn't get through on the phone. Very hard to order during the first two hours much easier now. myster
No I don't mean it won't work I don't have a credit card to buy one!! Is that the only way you can buy them becausee I really want one!!
