They are not really "coins". They look like medals or some other commercial issue.

    Definitely not a coin.

They have two eagles in order to call them "double eagles". They are not US coins, most likely not gold or silver, just clickbait numismatic-like items.

I have a few of these George Bush "Double Eagles"

In fact, I am currently trading one to @Evan Saltis

They aren't silver or anything but I think they are more of a collectors item if you like the person on the coin. I wonder who makes them lol.

One of them says "National Historic Mint" for whatever that is worth.

Most of this stuff rolls off my back. If people do not wish to research what they are buying, that is on them. This one, though, I have always hated more than most. Most Americans are not aware an "eagle" is a LEGAL term for US coinage. An eagle is legally equal to so many grains of gold, which comprise a $10 gold piece. A double eagle is legally a $20 gold piece. Its like they put out a coin using the word US dollar and not expecting it to be misleading.

You hit the nail on the head! The OP has stated before that he is not here to learn, and he expects that it is our job to supply him with the necessary information.

That’s junk put out by “private mints” — otherwise known as marketing companies. I’ll save you the trouble of estimating its value — it’s worthless.

I don't remember him saying that sir. I was speaking generically concerning all such items bought by the public.

I've seen a lot of these "double eagle" medals over the years and I have never seen one that was actually silver.

I just saw an ad for a $2 “double eagle” apparently minted overseas.

The "double eagle" design was a gimmick some outfit came out with about 20 years ago. If it’s made of silver, which a lot of them aren’t, it’s worth scrap. If it’s made of aluminum, it’s still worth scrap, which is next to nothing.

It's just a white metal. I have seen many of these in pawn shops.

It dates back further than that. I first saw these "double eagles" back when I was still in high school which puts it back over 40 years ago.

So, you are denying that you said what he quoted? It's right there in black and white. Go ahead and keep shooting yourself in the foot.
