So, I know there's likely some post mint explanation for these. They were all found in my last box of pennies. The Belize coin was just a cool find in a penny roll. The one right after that has no date and is almost blank in the back. I'm thinking it was sanded maybe? It weighs 2.7 grams. The third penny, I'm really not sure about...it could possibly be a strike through grease?
The forth penny looks like it was sanded as it's almost fully silver with no date. Took these pictures with my camera. Sorry they are not more clear. Hopefully they are clear enough for opinions. Most of them look blurry without a camera too....
Plus if these coins are sanded...why? LOL None of them have dates, other than the Balize coin.

Damaged cents. The Belize coin is cool, too.

Thanks Evan. I found a few other interesting coins, like a 1998 wide AM. Now to find a 1972 double die, a 1982 D small date bronze, and a 1992 close AM. Eventually hopefully. :)

Hi Southside! Welcome to CT. Always good to get new members!! I agree those cents are really beat up! Would like to let you know the correct term is "doubled die" not double die! Some members get excited when it's spelled wrong!! Doesn't matter to me, just thought I would give a friendly heads up! LOL Enjoy the blog. It's a fun place to learn!!!

That is a Copper Plated Zinc Cent. The copper has been removed and the inner zinc exposed. Zinc has a silvery color.
The other cents are also damaged.
    No errors of any kind.

The Belize coin is known as a scallop shape planchet.

This. The Belize is a fun find. Throw the damaged cents in a wishing well and make a wish for more finds! ;)
