I got these two Clavdivs for like $20 each. There is little to no reason to ever pay $20 for a mediocre Claudius II, but I really wanted the reverses, so....

    RIC 149

    RIC 104
    IMPCCLAVDIVSAVG
    VICT-O-RIAAVG

    Was it worth it?
    NO
    Do I regret it?
    NO

I like the obverse of the first coin.

Same! Victory always seems to be advancing some direction; I haven't seen one yet with her standing still.

Same! Incredible details on the portrait, especially that crown.

The portrait style is very elegant.
I have only 1 Claudius coin, but it appears the person designing the die was in a big hurry

I have one where Victory, or rather Nike, got tired of walking when she made it to Hadrianopolis.

    Gordian III
    AE26
    Hadrianopolis, Thrace
Obverse: AVT K M ANT ΓOΡΔIANOC AV, laureate, draped bust right
Reverse: AΔΡIANOΠOΛEITΩN, Nike standing left with wreath and palm branch

And I would walk five hundred miles and I would walk five hundred more...

This celator was so excited to start on the reverse that he skimped on the portrait!

And then I'd take a break because it is a long walk from Rome to Hadrianopolis.
Approximately 1,535km per google maps. Which is ALMOST 1,000 miles (953 to be exact)

LOL. That is pretty ironic. The song only says he'd walk a total of 1,000 miles, and no more :D

I mean, I feel like walking 1,000 miles is plenty. If she still doesn't want you, move on. But maybe take a plane or train back. You've done enough walking.
