Here are a couple more Indian cents I bought for my personal collection but can't decide which one to keep. Most of you know I love toned Indian cents and both of these have pretty toning (IMO), but they are very different from each other. So which one do you like?

Easy - the 65 brown. The toning is not as splotch as the 64RB, plus I like the strike better. Just my opinion.

If your prime interest is the toning, I see no comparison between the 2. The 64 is far superior to the 65 for toning.

This is simple, the 64RB. The toning is sooo much better than the 65BN

And you get 2 votes because?

Nope - I just wanted to encourage others to vote for coin number 1. BUT if charmy wants to let me raise both my left and right arm while voting I will do it. :) PLUS on top of that people tell me how special I am all the time, but sometimes I think they mean something else. :)

Hey Mark, I know how you work, you're probably trying to get more votes for No. 1 because you REALLY like No. 2 and if I choose my coin by votes, then I'll sell No. 2 just so you can buy it! I'm right, aren't I!

Sorry to say no that is not the case. Your 1901 64rb is too flashy for the rest of my plane jane 64's. None of the rest of my IHC's show that type of toning so it would stick out like a sore thumb. And in all honesty I really do like the 65bn strike a whole lot better. In truth you should be able to move either of those coins quickly. They are two beauties for sure.

Number 2 is more like the coins you own, but Number 1's toning is more unique to me. They are both nice.

Interesting how people's taste runs when it comes to toning. I'd go with the first myself. Just appeals to me more.

Decisions, Decisons, gotta go with the 64RB. Love the color

Oooooo, I like the 64RB very cool.

The question is - are they justed awed by the color or did they compare the coin? Me personally I like the strike and how clean the fields look on the first coin along with the eveness of the toning. The second coin is(in my opinion) a good strike for a 64, but not as clean or as nice as the first coin. Then the toning is a little splotchier on the reverse. Ergo I picked #1. How many picked #2 for the toning alone? Not saying it is a bad coin, but did they just get awed by the toning - very easy to do in this case. :)

Both of these are sweet coins, but I would have to go with the 64 red brown if I could only keep one.

I love copper, and toned copper, but I don't particularly like either of those. If I had to choose one, I'd choose the second, but I wouldn't be very pleased about the decision.

Both very nice but I like the 64RB myself. I'm a sucker for rosy red!
