I went through some two's recently and found 2 interesting bills. They are both stamped in red one with a small picture of a pig and the words pork dollar. The other with a small picture of a cow and the words beef dollar. Anyone know what this is about? Ill try to get some pictures up
I have found many, many $2 bills with a stamp on them. People love stamping $2s and then giving them out to people for advertisement. I have seen a few from a lawyer company, parachuters, paw prints, and even wheres george.
I would imagine that some meat processing plant handed those out as bonuses to spend in the local community, a tried and true method of reminding the community about the importance of said industry. I am surprised "gentlemens" clubs haven't resorted to the same advertising.
interesting,, i am not sure i have ever seen the stamping of notes beyond the WG 'stuff' Lets hope those Gentelmen places leave then notee alone lol
I wonder if the stamps are a political statement. The pork dollars stamps could be for all the pork barrel spending that goes on in politics. The beef dollars maybe a statement about the decrees spending power of the dollar. Like where's the beef!!! Lou
