Those are in great shape for being minted in 1776!

    Unless its the silver variant.
They made way too many to really keep.

For some reason lots of them bring a premium on ebay?

Sentimental value can be better than monetary value

I literally have three dozen minimum coin tubes full of them. Been keeping every one that finds me since 1976. Halves and dollars as well, although not as many. No logical reason other than I'm a hoarder.

At one point I had four rolls of Bicentennial quarters I got out of circulation. Ended up spending them.

I have a roll of ngc graded bicentennial quarter proofs. Everything from pf69dcam down to about pf68.

A roll of proofs? Wow, you are really lucky. Where did you acquire it?

So someone broke open 40 proof sets to make a roll?

Yep, I figured that I would have a grandson to give these to some day, but that is not going to happen. I deposited several rolls in the bank about 3 years ago.

What is/was the question, issue, comments, etc. from the op about bi-cent qtrs and/or those in the photos...? Just post photos and see where it goes, maybe...? If so, I like 'em still today...always have...wish/hope there will be more in/by 2026 to commemorate/celebrate our 250th...? And I hope they're made available in 2026 if not maybe starting in 2025...rather than nowadays having many issues not available until the NEXT year...! Why are so many commemorative issues a year LATE...after their date...?
