    Yea no kidding, also a couple Large Cents are on eBay from the Dan Holmes collection, that was auctioned earlier this month by Goldberg.

    Don't know anything about these issues but something in my gut is tellin' me those pictures don't look right. Maybe I should just state it. Don't look right to me.....oh and the price? Heavenly......dream on, dream on.

    It looks to me like there is a gouge on the reverse on the E and N of One Cent.

    Because a lot, might I say a majority?, of old copper collectors prefer to see, view, handle, old copper un-slabbed. I say this as more and more of the top, high end cents and half cents are getting graded.

    Perhaps as more of the old school copper collectors pass their collections on to others we'll see the percentage of copper getting slabbed increase, but as of today it is not unusual at all to see high end cents not slabbed.

    I'll add that my entire Large Cent collection is raw.
