I sent a message to Peter (owner of the forum) about it around a month ago (when it was in the second week of the current thread) and I think he said he'd take care of it when he got back from his trip.

I know the site has had many changes in the past month including the addition of credits and some design changes, so maybe the TOTW thread is going away?? Don't know.

I didn't even know there was such a thing. Where is it?

if you click on a thread and in the upper right corner there will be an sign that says (nominated) if you click on it you will go to a page for the THREAD OF THE WEEK, the top 3 post are to be the thread for others to talk about. the more votes you get the better chance that your thread will make it to the top 3, but now it is not updated. it only goes to week 33.

If you go to the last page on the Thread of the Week link, you'll see the posts are up to Week 38, but there hasn't been any "Winners" for quite a while. Hopefully, Peter will fix this soon.

And hopefully he'll go through the list and figure out the votes so the winner of each week gets credit for their win. I can't believe my thread from 5-6 weeks ago is still in the lead, but I know there were several other great threads since then that deserve their 1st and 2nd place wins for the respective weeks they got their votes.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I've been away from this site for a couple of months due to getting a new job, moving, filling out security paperwork and such. The credits thing is new since the last time I was here.

Can someone explain the credit system to me? What is it, what's it good for, how and why do you get them, etc?
