I agree & what a better President than Teddy Roosevelt to put on a new half dollar , lets face it he was a colorful person , outgoing & loved our national parks, hes got my vote, what you say ?:hail:

You know we could start a grass roots movement right here on coin talk & contact our congressman and senators, start a blog, get those politicians off there rear-ends and doing something positive for a change.

I still think the National Parks would have really looked good on the half dollar, look at all the extra room they would have had to show off their art work  http://mintnewsblog.blogspot.com/

Yeah, just like the dead president series has already doomed the paper dollar!

Very good idea. let's do Gasparro's famous LIberty head dollar design.

The quarter series already bores me, but this is because I don't live out west.

I ,as a collector of coins, old ones & new ones, would hate to see the mint stop minting any of them , the state quarters alone brought so many new coin collectors back it was amazing. Now that the mint has peoples interest again in coin collecting why stay with just quarters why not move on to the half dollar . Just a thought :D

Perhaps the Nat'l. Park series might spike up your artistic side :hatch:in collecting them when you see the new designs
