3 Silver dimes today from another teller. A canadian dime, Mexican 20 centavos and a few cents from the coinstar reject slot.

Aggie- what year was that Balboa? 1983?

 

about 80% through a box of quarters and just found a 1964! Also found a few 2008 Arizona cud/errors a few 2009's and 7 bicentennials. so far so good

 

The Balboa is 2001. I am guessing I wish it was an 83? lol

 

got a 2009 sac today.

 

Nope it's just that I found a 83 Balboa while searching a box. I gave it back to my banks coin machine. I wondered if it had already been rolled and put back into circ. I guess there are more Balboa's in circ. than the one I found.:goofer:

Just began searching rolls again, with relatively little luck.

Halves: Searched $310

No Silver of any kind, but did find 1-'06p & 2 '06D, oddly enough

Quarters: 10 rolls, nothing of interest

Dimes: 6 rolls, nothing of interest

Nickels: 16 rolls, 1 wartime, 2 prewar, but no buffaloes or anything

Pennies: My best luck was here; nothing of much value, but at least interesting

One box, plus 16 rolls yielded 26 wheats, including a chewed up 1910, a VG 1926, a couple of '30s dates and quite a few later ones; also got 7 canadians (oldest 1953) and two dimes

Of what significant value are the bicentennial quarters if any? Have a bunch and not too sure if I should keep em or put em back in circulation!

 

No numismatic significance at all. One of the highest mintages of Washington quarters.

$500 in halves a few days ago 1941 S, 1- 40% 1985 Proof. The second pic is hard to see from the lighting but it's a gold plated 1983 p.

Found total of 24 rolls of halves from four local banks. One of the tellers actually said, "Please come back, we can't ever get rid of these doggonned half dollars!"

From those rolls I found 4x40%
66, 67, 68d, 69

From 1 box of pennies: only 8 wheats this time, but some interesting older dates:

I was happy to find some silver. I hadn't found any and was getting a little discouraged. What I'd really like would be to find some Franks and Walkers. It's hard for me to imagine there are many still out there, but you all say you find them, so I'll keep lookin'.

IN a roll of nickels today I fond a 1941 Canadian and a 1896 V nickel. the V is the oldest coin i ever got in change! I also found a 1 dollar silver certificate and a lady at the train station gave me a 1864 penny. This was a swell day!!!

 

i found a canadian comm. penny 1992

 

I recently started coin roll hunting. I just found a 1928 cent which may be not be an exciting coin but is the oldest that I have found so far so that motivates me to continue.
