Very cool roll find today

Found my first blank cent (Zinc type). Was very excited when this guy came out of the roll! Have almost bought a couple different types lately but now I can cross one off the list.

was the roll a solid roll of one date or mixed? as the mint now sez they don't allow errors to get by any longer with the new process. I found a 1963-d Jefferson blank in a roll I had put away.... Paddy

Thanks Paddy - but I think the blank is a zinc type US cent - I just threw in the Bahama's cent because I have not seen one in a roll in some time. had 20 Canadian cents in the box - we are being invaded as this has been the norm lately. Only 8 wheat's 4 of which were 1944.

Very cool finds. I was lucky enough to run across a blank planchet earlier in the year in a roll also. I was pretty excited. I never did check to see if mine was zinc or not.

 

I have found one blank cent planchet in a roll. Very fun to find. Congrats.

Regarding worth.....it's only worth a couple bucks.
