elaine, did you post this in the wrong thread or just get overly excited by the PMs rising on cue now that it's September amid the global economic problems and challenges? How does the latest PM price increase relate to "Up to date mintages or production figures"?
david harper should announce it every tuesday instead of thursday. the mint release it on monday to some special interest. and david harper should have update immedietely its coin prices, coins and other magazines and books. remember we are all in the computer world. just one click. every figure is change. so fast and so accurate. why take it months to change them?.
Thanks Al, that is indeed one reputable source and let us not forget that these figures come from the Mint and they too publish a production page for the public. The blogs do their part and as soon as those are published you will usually find elaine updates her threads here as well. Cheers!hya:
krispy. i know you love me so much. anyway. thanks. just buy me a lunch. as to your question. i did that purposely.. because this thread might have a lot of readers. and i always want them to know immediately. that is also apply to mintage figures. just a free service from me to all i suppose. anyway. very soon i am quitting the coin talk. i have other much important business to do.
Hmmm... Don't go! You keep us so up to date and on our toes watching the numbers. I hope you are just taking a break and will be able to stay in touch from time to time on the forums. It won't be the same without your regular posts and excitement in the coin and bullion threads. Good luck in your new business venture.
Thanks! ...and "no", I didn't know that. I just ordered Numismatic New and Coin World...haven't seen the first copies, yet. Still, I hope Elaine doesn't leave! :crying: I enjoy all the commentary her posts generate...but I guess bitness is bitness. Good Luck! :hail:
Thanks Al, I did know this but I'm sure some of us here did not. To paraphrase Dougs signiture line.....knowlege, share it. :smile And Elaine, you can't leave. Too many of us here at CT have come to know and love you.....:smile
2008w am eagle unc silver dollar - 519,459. but if you less the estimated 2008/7w at 47,000. the balance for 2008w is only 472,459. this number should considered lower than those of 2006w (496,200) and 2007w (563,771). but then the rules does not always followed. 2006w (first year issue) is considered the key date. p.s. 2009w is still not being produce.

can the coming 2009 mint uncirculated set be a key date?. 2004 --- 844,485 2005 - 1,160,000 2006 --- 934,360 2007 --- 907,268 2008 --- 745,464 2009 --- ? ? ? ? ?
Well if the mint "just skip(s) those pending 2009 products and concentrate(s) on 2010." as you said above in post #812 then yes it's certainly an opportunity now isn't it, that is, unless the Mint hasn't yet produced the coins you are referring to in which case there won't be any to call a 'key'. And since you posed the question, what are your thoughts on this?
it won't be. it will be higher than last year. but if the mint offer and end this unc set with a maximum mintage below last year. then this set is a key.
no report after eight days for ASE and AGE bullion. the mint might reserve some for the other products. who knows?.
