The Better Eagle?

As a part time artist I love 99% of the Art Deco movement , just can't get into that eagle though , but it does illicet a response and that is blah:thumb:

That's exactly what my wife said, "looks like a whale". Gotta be a female conspiracy. I love the design. Right up there with "Hudson" locomotives and the "Chrysler" building...:smile

 

Who would have thought you would only be a little biased? It is a beautiful eagle no doubt. From my avatar obviously I like the Peace Dollar, and its history.

 

The FE eagle is my favorite. This would me my second.

 

This has been and will be my favorite Eagle unless someone can show me one better.

I love anything Americana. My fav eagle design would be the Walker eagle. My fav coin design period is the Standing Lib quarter.

Go figure........I am a Lincoln guy, LOL.

I forgot about the reverse of the Washington Gold...that is a great eagle too!

The Eagle on the reverse of the Ike is definitely one of my favorite

 

I'm with PENNY LADY. That resembles a Golden Eagle to me. A pure bird of prey, smart, fast, and elegant. Two other eagle coins: The Sacagewea and the obverse of the 2008 Bald Eagle one dollar commem.

That is one of my favorites as well. Not only is it a great design, but it ties coins to my favorite history subject...manned spaceflight. Because, as I'm sure you already know the reverse of the Ike and SBA was adapted from the Apollo 11 mission insignia.
