Post your most Eye Appealing KEY DATES!

Key dates in any series are tough to come by, especially in higher grades (for the newbies, key dates are the lowest minted or rarest date in any series). But in particular, in my opinion, they are most difficult to find with that extra special eye appeal. I've been fortunate to have found a few over the years and they have become my most favorite coins in my collection. Here are a few of mine (some of which you may have already seen), so let's see yours!

    Whoa, momma!!!
    Those certainly got my attention.
I've got them all but not nearly that quality.
And I can't match the rainbow toning on any of my good ones.

Here's the best I can do:

Well, this one is only a semi-key date, but it sure has a little eye-appeal:

This may not be what most people think of as a key - until you try to get one. Then you find how rough it really is.

Charmy those are dates not date. ;)

I have three key dates in my series, this is probably the better looking of the three.

Hey I say post all the pretty keys you have!!!! And if you don't have pretty keys, then post your pretty semi-keys..... I'd just love to see all your eye appealing better dates! :eat:

Here's a beautiful semi-key I got from Jack - look at the difference in photography on this beauty. The first photo is from Jack, and the second one is from Todd. Both pictures are very pretty, but the lighting and photography style really make the coin look like complete different coins, don't you think.

I think the walkers are very eye appealing, even when worn- and I think this one qualifies as a key date:

That is one gorgeous 24-D Charmy, I already miss it:mad:

This is the ONE coin I think I like my pics better than Todds, I just hate those prong holders. I will have techno-Snaz teach me how to crop them out.

I am glad you got it tho, I could not have sold it to a better person:hug:

VERY NICE coins! Nice to know their owners appreciate them too! This gives the rest of us a chance to enjoy them as well. It's not often you get to see so many beauties at once.
