What do you guys think? https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-So-UR...motedViewItems&_trksid=p2563228.c101112.m1982 I want to make this a birthday present. 4/1 is my fathers birthday.
It is probably priced that way because of the toning. It's a $30-35 dollar coin. That auction is way over priced. Just my opinion.

Attractive enough, but grossly overpriced, as mentioned. With Best Offer, who knows what price the seller would accept? Sometimes they'll accept offers of 60% or so (which I still think might be a bit too much on that particular coin). I'm reluctant to ever use the Make Offer feature to offer less than 50% of a seller's asking price, for fear of insulting them.
For Uruguay, for the money, I'd rather have this. Exactly a century older. (1869 versus 1969.) I've dealt with that seller before, and got a nice coin from them.
Is it Uruguay, 1969, or that type in particular? Or all three? What made you pick this, I'm wondering? For no reason other than random curiosity, is all.
He is asking proof price for an uncirc coin. (If it is really MS 65). NGC lists this coin (in MS 63) at $30 and proof at $200. Agree with Spirit Yoda. This coin AT MOST is worth half what they are asking.
It was one of the coins my father lost in the theft and he loved the design - we have blow up images of the coin on the wall - poster size - and his birthday is coming.
