I was taking a little time to play with the new camera today and take a few shots of a toned Peace Dollar I have. Just wanted to share with the group:hug:
Cool coin and nice photos. A bit of constructive criticism: Both photos are a bit underexposed (the first more than the second), and I'd work a bit on your white balance. Thanks for sharing & hoping to help...Mike
Thank you, I thought something was a little off, tried looking at it on the 27" monitor and the 17" Never even thought about the white balance, again thanks Stewart
And Stewart, try using a more neutral color background like white or light grey. Colored backgrounds tend to reflect their color onto the coin and exaggerate or alter the color of any toning.
