Photography Practice 1922 Peace Toned

    I was taking a little time to play with the new camera today and take a few shots of a toned Peace Dollar I have. Just wanted to share with the group:hug:

    Cool coin and nice photos.

    A bit of constructive criticism: Both photos are a bit underexposed (the first more than the second), and I'd work a bit on your white balance.

    Thank you, I thought something was a little off, tried looking at it on the 27" monitor and the 17" Never even thought about the white balance, again thanks

    And Stewart, try using a more neutral color background like white or light grey. Colored backgrounds tend to reflect their color onto the coin and exaggerate or alter the color of any toning.

    Thanks for the tip Makes sense, Not good using real wood on desk for back ground :desk::D
