1968 mint set. Over 50 years old, so historic. Picked this up 2 weeks ago. Polish_20210218_222715621.jpg

    1919 Canada large cent. I see I have 2 of these, one raw and one in a Canadian ICCS "slab" MS60. 1919 CA 1 c obv.JPG 1919 CA 1 c rev.JPG 1919 CA 1 c obv (2).JPG 1919 CA 1 c rev (2).JPG

1959 Canada 25 Cents ICCS Graded MS 63 -Monster toned. Since ICCS graded it and they are very strict on grading I am thinking it is natural toning. I just bought it and can not wait to see it in person...

I can't wait to add it to my toned caribou 25 cents collection. Amazing color. You do not see them this color. I pounced on it. The orange color makes the caribou look like a ghost.

Interesting factoid, the Morse code around the perimeter means "WE WIN WHEN WE WORK WILLINGLY".

I just can't help myself . . . . whenever I see one of these I cannot help but say to myself, "Oh yea, a twonie that has the Queen on the front with a bear behind."

While I don't collect these or know quite where I may have acquired them, I do have a few older Canadian coins in relatively good shape.

Some horrible old photos, but you get the idea. I love the 1947 Maple Leafs.

I was cleaning my den/home office and came across this nice 1983 Proof set. Handsome leather case. All the coins have frosted devices. A little edge haze on the obverse of silver dollar coin (commemorative). Lens are a little scratched. Some nice RCM products in the 80s it seems... I am not sure. University of Edmonton track athlete of some sort, it looks like.

Edit: according to Numista, commemorates the World University Games.

I've seen this coin a thousand times clad, never cared for it. In silver, I'm mesmerized. It's gorgeous.

A couple of worn quarters. Paid $5 each. Silver would have to rise to $33.50 or about 25% for melt value to be $5. Polish_20210319_201642777.jpg Polish_20210319_201506337.jpg

Yes, it's one of a couple types of round-the-clocks. The Obv has a combination of machine/mechanical doubling, hub doubling and also some repunched letters. Since it's MD, there is some difference in the amount/scope of the offsetsof the over/under-punches.
