This hobby would be no fun without impulse buys. Those are usually the ones we learn the most from. :)

    Congrats

I don't know anything about the price of this coin but if you purchased it because you like it and you're still enjoying having it, it was a good deal. Having fun isn't always about getting the best bargain.

I sometimes paid a little more then I should for NCG PF69 Lincolns can't help it, besides if I pass up on it I may have to pay more later. But I think if you really want a coin you should buy it.

I think it is a nice coin and if you are happy with it then that's all that matters. I don't know much about this set, being that it was purchased from an antique store my guess is you paid a little more than you would at a coin dealer...but I don't know and if you like the coin then that is all that matters. Enjoy it!!!

What makes you think it was bodybagged? It looks like ANACS graded and slabbed normally.

Looks good to me, we've all done an impulse or two I'm sure. I'm not sure what it is worth, but not a really expensive coin. I just hope you like it.

I don't impulse buy, but sometimes I overpay for a coin I want.
It generally is the last coin I need to complete a set AND I've been looking for 6 months or more.
    OR
I'll buy a higher grade than I was looking for just to get the coin and complete the set.

At my age I don't have time to wait it out

can't really say its an impulse buy then Kanga.... sounds like an absolute necessity in your case... ;) I agree with everyone else, its not an expensive coin and you seem to enjoy it so I call it a good buy. :)

I wish to amend my previous statement that I don't "impulse" buy.
I wish it to read that I don't exactly impulse buy.
    (We're getting into semantics now.)
I have a complete business strike birthday set.
I recently decided that it's not complete until I add the proofs.
So in the two weeks since I made that decision I've got in hand the dime and one of the half dollar varieties, and the quarter is "in the mail".

That's not quite impulse buying
    Is it? ;)
