WOW- that is quite a coin. Hard to find that nice and very expensive. You should be named "HARRYKEYJ"
Here's a new grab from the show, it's par with a VF35 I have from PCGS. Still trying to figure out this new camera... Not going to be able to get focused shots until I get a macro lens... EDIT: Why in teh world are the pictures always small now for some reason?
Snaz, how do you do your photos? Do you transfer from your computer direct to CT, or do you go through an outside like photobucket ? Jim
Thanks! Grabbed up that one from ArizonaJack's website MesaCoin.com Looks great in my Lincoln Dansco album too!
sorry, double post, site is running slow for me since this credit thing started ??? might as well post another lincoln here though
I usually do a direct upload, but everyones been having with the pictures being too small for some reason today. I use photobucket if something won't post for some reason. Same 21 S:
LOL not yet. Saving for a nice slabbed 1909 S (NO VDB) and the 14 D is also on my list. Looking to upgrade these 2 raw coins to slabbed. The 14 D will be the tough one cash wise.
Yeah, nice one. Just a touch too much interference for a 65. PS: That new avatar is Nevada Smith...right? :kewl:
Who is Nevada Smith? That is Steve McQueen from "Wanted Dead or Alive" (1958 - 1961). You must be under 45 (50, anyways). It was, IMHO, one of the better shows from that era.
Did find out that Nevada Smith was a Steve McQueen role, but I could not find anything else about it. That was while I was in college. I watched virtually no TV then.
I like any Steve McQueen movie, including Nevada Smith (1966 movie about a naive half-breed who evolves into a hardened killer as he tracks down his parents' murderers - see movie cover below). Now for posting a Lincoln, many of you have seen this one already, but since it is a Lincoln and I just love this coin, and this is a "post a Lincoln" thread, I am taking the opportunity to post it again (and again and again.....) - just in case there is that one lost sole out there who hasn't seen it yet!
Let me put it this way. If that '14-D were in a 65BN holder, I don't think I'd dispute that. :thumb: PS: Then I'll bet you *love* The Cincinnati Kid.
