For those that don’t want it or are not in favor it, just pretend someone gave you $1400 to spend on numismatics other than Uncle Joe/Sam.

I’m going with 1 coin in the $1400 range.

    1. A denarius of one of the “first emperors” of Rome
    2. Large silver crown MS+

Vatican 1/4 oz. (or close to it) coins in MS66 quality can be had for < $1,400. Drop down to MS65 and they run about $500.

Not excactly what you're looking for, but I would (I AM going to!) get a whole bunch of my higher-grade and more valuable raw coins graded to sell, that I waited too long to do (my bad) and now can't afford on my limited retirement.

A low MS 1901-S or 1903-S Barber dime, with the variety I'm interested in. Might have to settle for high AU.
