I have a 1991 p nickel with most of united stamped on jeffersons chest. Is it worth having authenticated? Is it valuable?
The "T" is upside down. Another coin was squeezed onto your nickel. Commonly called a "Vice Job"# Welcome to CT
How do you know that? I took it to a dealer in grand blanc and he said he don't deal in error coins but it is a new find.
I have 36 years specializing in collecting, studying and indentifing true mint errors. That is not a mint error of any kind and definitely not a new find. See how much the "coin dealer" would offer for it. Take the money and run! I'm being honest. There is no reason to mislead you.
It's a sandwich coin - another coin was simply pressed into your nickel. The dealer/person who told you it was a new find is 100% wrong.
I've been collecting coins for over 60 years. I love Error coins. I would strongly suggest you find another dealer.
I am new to coin collecting i meant no disrespect. But 3 different people in that shop including 2 customers looked at it and all said the same thing. But it is what it is i was just excited to hear that i found something new.
No disrespect taken. Unfortunately those people in that coin shop don't know. Paddyman98 is a top Error collector Fred Weinberg is foremost in the nation on errors I've collected for over 60 years Other members stated what the error experts see. It's just not a Mint error.
