I want the flat flag design, it's GREAT!

 

I would word it there are enough pennies hoarded in peoples basements to last the next 50 years.

Sure send all your letters to the Secretary of the Treasury. Forget Congress, forget the CFA, or the CCAC. The ONLY person who matters is the Secretary of the Treasury because HE is the one who makes the final decision as to what design will be used, no one else. Congress can mandate themes, the Mint artist can create designs, in the case of the state quarters the people and th governors voted, the CFA and CCAC can make recommendations, but then it finally comes to the Sec Treas, and he picks the one he likes. That is where pressure needs to be applied.

 

Thanks, I think I will do just that. That Flag design seems like a joke to me and the eagle design seems like the majestic piece of art or at least a better piece of art that our coinage needs for the next 50 years.

 

Actually if you look close, Lincoln has been on the reverse since '59...
