Was this a decent deal for 19.99? I mean, I'm getting $8 back in spendable currency. Nobody else bid. What do you guys think? Maybe just a bad auction description so nobody saw them?

I 'discovered' these $2 bills with the Monticello mansion on the back for the first time today. I love them! I had never seen one before in my life. So cool! And they're cheap.

Nice buy...$2 bills are works of art...too bad the 1928 isn't the Woods/Mills. :hail:

Say, what do you think that $50,000,000,000 Zimbabwe note will buy? Can you imagine carry around that many President coins in you pockets? (I gotta buy more gold if that's gonna happen here!)

    Only 50-billion? - How about a 100-trillion (100,000,000,000,000) Dollar Zimbabwe note? :)

    Its a Buffalo

I'll quite saying that when you can tell me what this is.:hail:

Hopefully the images can be exploded enough to read the fine print.

What is sad is that it can't even buy a loaf of bread over there....

What's even more sad is I think these notes have an expiration date. So saving them up for something nice is not an option. :(

I have one that another forum member gave me, at least I thought it had a use by date on it. I'll have to double check on that.

Why can't I get photos to upload?

I'm not big on notes but have a few issued from places even smaller than the denomination, population_wise.

I have seen others ask the same issue, are you uploading them directly or placing them on another site like photobucket and linking them?

I am not having issues if I use photobucket.

If you don't feel cheated, then you paid the right amount. It is only an issue if you want to turn them around and sell them. Then, if you can't get what you paid, you paid too much.

Nice bills, by the way. I inherited a pile of 1928 $2 bills from a relative, or rather they were found in her estate and given to me by her executor who knew I was a collector. They are all more circulated than yours, judging by the photos, but they were free and have sentimental value, too. I'll keep 'em forever.

elaine 1970 - you can get some great buys on Ebay. I just got a 1957 Silver Certificate for $3.99 + shipping. I am now bidding on a lot of ten Silver Certificates, 5 from 1935 and 5 from 1957 and my current high bid is only $12.00. I might not win, but it feels great to try.
