possible 1946d rpm

    Yea Nick it is a pretty sweet shop. But, one example of what I did not like was a price for a 1931S MS-65 penny. In the book it states it is worth$175 in MS-63, but these guys wanted $625.00 for a slabbed(NGC) version. I thought that was a bit pricey. And when talking to the salesman, he didn't seem to know his stuff. They had the"owner" behind the desk with his stereoscope and coins, so I think he is the "man" of the place, but anyone else I think are "fodder":) I am thinking of applying for a position there, just to enertain the thought of doing that. Never sold coins in that kind of setting before, so it might be interesting.

    repunched mintmark. prior to 1990 the mintmark was added by hand to each die put into use. sometimes they didn't hit the punch hard enough and would have to do it again. this caused many dies to have rpm's that were identifiable.
