This coin is interesting in that, there are 2 lumps of metal on the hump of the animal on reverse. Are these die chips? The chip on the left looks like a hoof. Strange looking die chip. Can anyone else see the the hoof die chip?
hoof 'chip' doesnt seem to be a chip to me, the back one is. he has a tick, lol, funny little die chip
This looks like a horse's hoof. It is a die dent found on the 2005S KS Silver Proof, FS-901 in the CPG.
Why is one of them shaped like the buffalo's hoof? Not normal for a die chip. Die chips don't take the shape of part of the design. I'm a little confused.
I agree that you're a little confused. It's a simple die chip, nothing more. Once again, if you disagree with the members, and think you found something rare, send it to CONECA, ANACS, or ICG for attribution. (Include it with the submission of your dropped elements and subsided die break Did you notice that nobody else is seeing these elaborate errors. Not experienced error collectors, not people who are extremely knowledgeable of the minting process. Nobody but you. I would hate to be at your house during breakfast. I bet you find a picture of Bigfoot on your toast 2-3 days/week. You said in previous posts that you want to learn. Making ridiculous claims doesn't do anything but get you on ignore lists.
Some of you will never change. Oldhoopster, that's your response?? Educated responses only. No more negativity. If you don't know don't say anything. Gee whiz. Show me where a die chips can be any shape and i will show you where it says featureless blob. Not a hoof shaped blob. Thanks.
By the way, I'd rather you ignore me than to put up uneducated responses, trying to get others to jump on your band wagon. Thanks again.
I said that the left die chip on the buffalo's hump looks like the buffalo's hoof. The collage is a comparison of the two. I'm asking, if it is a die chip, why does it looks so much like a hoof? Not a featureless blob.
Different shapes and sizes i get guys. Featureless blob i don't. Featureless means, it doesn't exhibit any features of anything. When researching, all you see is featureless blob. What does that mean? The chip in question is not a featureless blob. Can we reason together? Forget that it is me guys.
