Yeah, I voted for the dime b/c I have dimes and I have a 1916 S. Plus it's just the one I appreciate most of your choices. have a good pick
I am kind of prejudice for the Lincolns, but which one? Either one would be very welcome in my collection, but I think I would take the 55/55 jut because it is closer to the top condition.
I love Barber Halves, thats what I'm working on now. Its a really hard set. No mintages are higher than like 5 million with over a dozen with mintages under 300,000.
I'll try to post pic's of the coins here soon - since I don't know if I'll even bid on them I won't need to worry about ya'll out bidding me Speedy
1916-D 1955/1955 I don't have a pic' of the 1922-NO D as it is at my local dealers - maybe if he would take some stuff in trade.... Speedy
Since they are all key dates, I would buy the one that is in the highest condition thet you can afford. So far it appears to be the 55. Go for it.
Who said "I" could afford it?...I thought YOU were going to pay for it I'm kindof in-between jobs right now so a coin shouldn't be top on my list, but it is!!! You could call it a sign-on bonus that I'm giving myself before I sign-on! LOL! Speedy
I'm in between jobs also (retired from one career looking for another) and still buying coins.... one shouldn't purchase outside their means. I cant envision buying you a 55/55 DD unless I win the lottery, however if you give me a good reference for my next job I'd send you some of my coins that I have upgraded. LOL.
Thanks I'm sure you will find something! It isn't as easy when your my age and your past work has been self-employed. They just look at you as if to say...yeah right, you just were a bum! LOL! Speedy
well I decided to let most of them pass - I still have a chance on the 22 no D on Monday, but I haven't decided as it seems alittle high. The coins I posted above started out at around what I was willing to pay with BP - I tried to go to Heritage and get a good ball-park number on what I should bid, so I think I did good letting them pass. I do have a high bid on 2 coins that end today, and if I win one or both, I'll post pic's - one would upgrade a coin in my PF66 Franklin Set. Speedy
Speedy I cast my vote for the 55/55 or hte 22 no "D". You could find a F12 for 700$ if you wait around long enough.
