    Nice coins. Is the 21 S graded? thats a nice strike for that year.

    I read somewhere it's impurities in the copper.
    Thats about the woodiest i've ever seen badthad. I have a couple decent ones but no good photos. They're hard to photo,I haven't been able to get any pics that show any detail.

    If I remember correctly I think it is graded AU58, I'll dig it up when I look for the other woodies.

    If you are saying that the percentages are wrong, no. They were literally not blended properly.

    I have a 1909 IHC with the same effect. Does it add any value to it?

    I would not think so, but I have seen some that it might be. There was one posted here about a year or 1 1/2 ago (1925-??) that was absolutely gorgeous.
