Do you mean "largest note" or "largest denomination note"? If it's the later, I would have to say $100,000.

I was refering to denomination; however, $100,000 is incorrect.

The Obama $1,000,000 note doesn't count.

ARG! How about a person of the indigenous people of North America who has ancestors that also lived in North America for at least 14 generations.

According to the US Treasury Department, the largest currency denomination ever printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing was the $100,000 series 1934 gold certificate, which featured a portrait of President Woodrow Wilson.

LOL - I don't have that one but I have seen the Clinton $2,000,000 bill. I think Obama is gonna get the $9,000,000,000 bill :)

I'll help out a bit on my question - pay close attention to the wording of the question.

    tell that to my wife

I feel free as any American to admit~

And Quote from Unforgiven~"Injun's ain't know for being over friendly."

    But she might be right.

    My wife, Kowia~Commancee blood line.

Indigenous people opened the floodgates to this great country.

Then got the bison snot kicked out of them.

Well, you already said it is denomination and not physical size...

My other assumptions are that we're...

    1) discussing money
    2) The $100,000 was printed in the US

    What else am I missing?

    There's the $1 and $3 gold coins...and don't forget the 3 cent nickel.
...but most of those designs were the engravers' mistresses wearing a headress.

SBA looks like she could have some "native american" in her.
