it's hard for me to get anything from a bank. banks at big city might not be so good to entertain us.

I bought ten samoa sets from the Mint.

My bank said someone came in and bought up their entire supply of Samoa rolls the day they received them.

nowadays, collectors buy coins directly from the mint and preserve it as originally as possible without open its cartoon or box. they even keep track of the product date. and declare it as first day issue, first strike and so forth. wow. as a collector. we can not even touch the coin, see it, feel it, and play with it. and we even can not know if the coin inside is damage or not. the benefit will be the u.s. mint. and the coins that i purchased last few years were not open. and i don't see them and just imagine what is inside. that's it.

I got a roll of AM Samoa DCAM Clad Proofs last week for $27. Dumb investment perhaps, but they're really nice coins.

mint used 5.4 mil district of columbia quarters to sell their roll set, 100 coin/bag and 1,000 coin/bag.

also used 9.1 mil puerto rico quarters and 8.4 mil guam quarters.

mint used 5.3 mil am samoa quarters but this figures is not final yet.
